QR Code

The second generation of barcode

Anyone who wants to chat this one out with me add a comment, please go for it.

So, I believe that QR codes will help artists through viral marketing.

Here is one of my coffee cup designs:

Man2 by Graphic Designer Rebecca Lea and located at http://www.cafepress.com/rebeccalea.281865571

So can I generate a QR code and then resize it to fit this product?

Does anyone know if reducing the size of the original QR code corrupts the ability to read the smaller code?

Hey Max thanks for the response. Now I know that I can do this - at least as a trial- and then maybe once I accomplish the task someone will test it out later and see if we can read a reduced QR code.

make sure while you resize to smaller code; the horizontal and vertical dimension of the code must be ratioly reduced.

Thanks Perry, I guess I am just going to have to try this out and learn something new. But at least your response is encouraging (big smile).

I don't think so.

I have never scanned a QR Code on a cylindrical surface, but I think the smaller it is, the easier it would be to scan.

Cheers,

Perry
